Today, I am going to show you these two bags I decorated for Rio and Libby who happen to be my wonderful AWANA girls. (If you don't know what AWANA is you should Google it. And realize that you have been sadly deprived of a truly amazing club in your life)
For the first bag, a bright and happy elephant. The inspiration came from a bolt of fabric I saw.
I decked the back with matching flowers on a yellow background... As you can see...
This bag was originally suppose to have a chipmunk on it, but I tried so many times to draw something, ANYTHING, that even closely resembled a chipmunk, and all attempts failed. So I gave up and did an owl. Owls are so much more corporative.
And the back coordinates with the pattern on the owl itself...
There you have it! It was a long time coming. And for that I apologize. Crazy, crazy, crazy life.
