Collinsville Cardinals

This morning brought a beautiful day with it! Actually, first it brought a little sister crawling into bed with me, and then falling out almost every few minutes with a loud *thump* onto the floor. It sounded painful. But after little sister, I woke up to find all this wet stuff falling from the sky. That made me immensely jolly.  I love rain from the bottom of my boogity boogity boogity shoo (reference to Barry Mann)!

Lately I've been extremely busy. So much so that I haven't had a chance to update my brand newest shoes. For that, I am sorry. A couple weeks ago I did a pair for an older sister's co-worker's daughter. Here they are in all their splendiferousness...

Look! It's a fowl flexing its massive biceps. Now you've seen everything. Except for my glowing face as I listened to rain pour down outside my window. You missed out on that. Which is probably a good thing, 'cus, depending on who you are I might have been slightly creeped out by your being there.

The color scheme, as someone so kindly pointed out to me, has a slight hint of Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss = One of my favorite artists (He and Brett Helquist and moderately tied), and many
happy thoughts.

Ah, the lovely side cardinals. There they are. Enjoy. I won't admit to this, but I accidentally did one of them backwards. Oops. Yup, on the left shoe the head is looking to the heel. I didn't realize it until they were sealed and off. I honestly hit myself on the head.

On the inside of the shoes, I ended up putting a number down for a specific football player. I didn't snap a photo of it though.

Determined, or oh so extremely nettled?

Bona fide.
